Events and activities for children and families take place regularly at the Davis and Gonville Libraries. Follow us on Facebook for the latest info.

Story Time

Come and join us for Story Time. Listen to one of the Children’s Librarians read a variety of theme based picture books and sing a selection of songs. At the end of each session children are provided with a take home activity related to the theme of the week.

All children must be accompanied by a caregiver.

Mini Maestros

Come and join us at the Davis Library every Friday at 10.30am for Mini Maestros Music Time.

This is a free music and movement session for tamariki aged 0 to 5 where we have fun singing, dancing and playing instruments.

Story Circle:  Stories and Yoga

Come and join us at the Davis Library every Saturday morning in the children’s area at 11am for Story Circle.

This activity is for tamariki 2 years and up. We read some of our best picture books, followed by some easy, fun yoga moves. These are suitable and safe for children (and their parents/caregivers!), so no prior experience needed.
