The Wanganui Branch is based at the Alexander Heritage & Research Library, with a volunteer available to assist with family research each afternoon from 1-5pm.

The Branch meets on the second Monday of each month from February to November at the Alexander Heritage & Research Library from 5pm when library and research facilities available. The guest speaker and the business part of the meeting take place from 6.30pm (approx.) - 8pm
